Australian summers can prove difficult for staff to enjoy working when it is hot and humid outside as commercial workspaces, such as warehouses, can be extremely hard to keep cool with just air-conditioning alone. As an employer, it is your responsibility to provide a safe and comfortable working environment, especially on hot days. However, trying to cool down large open spaces like a warehouse with air conditioning requires an enormous amount of energy and consequently cost.
